I watch every Kirsten Dunst movie so I obviously had to see this one. It was funny and smart and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. That said, this movie will really turn you off the idea of having bridesmaids for your big day.

Fun in the Sunshine State

Last year was my first visit to Ft. Lauderdale and after my recent visit I am more than happy to make this an annual tradition. It was non stop fun, from kayaking to boat riding. I went jetskiing for the first time and also held the most darling baby alligator. I went on a tour of the Everglades followed by watching gator wrestling by the Gator Boys from Animal Planet.

Georgetown Cupcakes

A couple weeks ago, my sweet friend A brought me the sweetest treat.  She felt bad that I work on Sundays and knew I had been wanting to try Georgetown Cupcakes.  She brought me the perfect flavor.  Dark chocolate and mint go together like peanut butter and jelly only better.  The little mint candy on top is yummy.  The thick icing is rich and delicious although it might be a bit much for the faint of heart.  The cake part is also moist and yummy.  I plan to hang out a lot in Soho this summer so I can try all the flavors.  I would rank this in my top five favorite cupcakes, but not quite sure where.

What I've Been Reading

I am just finishing up the On the Runway Series by Melody Carlson.  These books may be for young adults, but I enjoy every minute of them.  This is church chick lit about a nineteen year old who takes a hiatus from UCLA film school to be part of a fashion show with her sister.  I really learned a good bit about designers from reading these books and I was super psyched that the New York Public Library had them all.
