The Good Life
I can always find something to complain about. Nevertheless, life is so good right now and I am just soaking it all in. Work is going well. My relationships are great. My closet is full of beautiful clothes. I can afford to travel. When I started this blog I was really unhappy with my life and now I know how to never let that happen again. I still have PTUSD (Post Traumatic Unemployment Stress Disorder) from graduating law school in 2009 with no job, but I feel like I am starting to overcome all the fear. Inspired by Gawker's weekly unemployment stories section, I recently drafted an account my own struggle. It's probably too horrific to post here, but I am contemplating it. Writing about all the pain I endured made me so grateful for all the blessings of the past two and half years. I don't deserve this embarrassment of riches that God has given me, but I will keep them as long as I am able.

It's Gonna Be a Happy New Year
More than anything else, I just really want to enjoy this year and make it the best one ever. New Year's Day I went to see Les Miserables. It was really great and I barely cried at all. I tend to think about a lot of serious things and I spend way too much time thinking about other peoples's feelings. This year I want to be more selfish and think about happy fun things. After all, life is short so I am going to fill it up with small things that make me happy like long lunches, good books and sour candy. I am going to make 2013 the absolute best year of my life.

In 2013 I Will
1. Enjoy my life and allow myself to take pleasure in the moment
2. Scan everything until I am living a paper free life
3. Pay off 16% of the principal balance of my student loans. It would be more, but I have a feeling I will be going on a few trips this year.
4. See at least one new American city
5. Go to at least one new state (Maine or Vermont I hope)
6. Get fashion bucket list item #5
7. Go see at least four Broadway shows (including Book of Mormon and Annie)
8. Rekindle old relationships
9. Go to a concert of one of my favorite artists
10. Finally visit the Statue of Liberty
